POST EVENT: InterAirport China 2018

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to announce that the 8th edition of InterAirport China 2018 has been successfully held from September 5th to 7th 2018, at the China International Exhibition Center, in Beijing.

InterAirport is China's largest and leading trade show in the field of airport design, construction, engineering, management, equipment and operations; the 2018 edition welcomed over 4.500 trade visitors from all over China and other Asean countries.

CICC, together with its Aviation & Aerospace Working Group (AAWG) - represented by AE Engineering, Gruppo Dani, Italian Aerospace Network and Progetto CMR – took part to this important event, showcasing high-end solutions, products and technologies for the developing Chinese civil aviation airport's industry, inside a beautifully decorated Italian Pavilion.

On September 6th 2018, the Italian Pavilion hosted a presentation of a "High-Capacity Airport: Innovative & Energy-Efficient Concept of Civil Aviation Airport", which has been designed and engineered by AE Engineering, and curated in its architecture by Progetto CMR. This airport's concept has two main purposes: on the Chinese side, it aims to be an innovative airport solution to manage the future aviation and travel industry (business/leisure) demands; on the Italian side, it welcomes other Working Groups' members and Italian companies willing to engage with future promotional activities across China.

During the 3-days event, the Italian Pavilion welcomed many trade visitors, clients, partners, airport design firms, construction groups, government bureaus, aviation authorities, importers and distributors of airport products/equipment.

It was an incredible occasion to witness the excitement of the Chinese aviation industry, which is rapidly opening up to more foreign cooperation with Italian companies both in China and along the Belt & Road.
