POST EVENT - Beijing Career Day 2019, 12 Maggio

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

On Sunday, May 12th, 2019, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, together with the Embassy of Italy in Beijing and the Association of Young Italians in China (AGIC), organized the 6th edition of the Beijing Career Day.

 

The event - held at the Auditorium of the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing - aimed at reconciling demand and supply in the job market.

The initiative brought together 19 companies offering a total of 30 job placements: Accredited Italian Embassy School in Beijing, Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina (CICC), CNRC - China National Tire & Rubber, Decathlon, Digiant Global Ecommerce, EMW Wines, Fondazione Italia-Cina, Gi Group China, Giuliano Automative Equipment, Huayitong International Education, Joie de Vivre Hotels, La Sicilia International Trading, Miele Food, O’ciao Education Technology Beijing, Pacific Prime, Panda Consulting Ecommerce, Saphire & International Aviation ATC Engineering, Venchi, VM Fine Wines.

The event was chaired by Mr. Federico Roberto Antonelli, Legal Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Beijing. Welcoming the audience, the Ambassador of Italy to the People's Republic of China, Mr Ettore Francesco Sequi, expressed his best wishes to those who were approaching for the first time the Chinese job market.

Mr Davide Cucino, CICC Chairman, also shared some advice for the youth in the audience, gleaning them from his 30-year work experience in the PRC. 

Ms Giulia Ziggiotti, AGIC Coordinator, presented the results of the Survey conducted among the members of the Association.

 

A thematic workshop preceded the one-to-one meetings between companies and candidates.

Giulia Gallarati, CICC Secretary General & Board Member EU SME Centre, "EU SME Centre: Starter Kit for young professionals in China": "EU SME Centre: starter kit per giovani imprenditori in Cina"

 

The seminars were followed by the one-to-one meetings between companies and candidates, while the small refreshment offered by the Embassy presented a good opportunity for the members of the audience to network with the speakers.
